Tenancy conditions

As a group you are renting the whole flat, so you are all responsible for the flat.

You will all be signing one lease, not individual leases, therefore you are all 'joint and severally liable' (i.e. all responsible as a group for the flat)

The lease is a short assured tenancy for either 42 or 50 weeks.

Each student provides a guarantor who ensures that they can pay the rent if the student cannot. We approach the guarantors first if rental payment has not been made, then we approach the rest in the flat.

The lease you sign is for the full term agreed and it is not possible to leave earlier than the end date of the lease.
